 The Audio Input Tab

This tab allows you to select the Audio Input Device (The one connected to the Windows Mobile). If no audio input is listed it may be that there is no sound card or audio drivers installed.

For best sound performance you may need to configure your audio input via Windows configuration.

NOTE :  Before changing any configuration please record a test call and listen to the results. If the sound level is too low, too high or there is too much noise, you might improve the sound quality in the device configuration settings.

Here is how to do this on Windows Vista:

●    Go into Control Panel and (in default view) open the heading for “Hardware and Sound”. Then click heading for “Sound”

●    Under the recording Tab select the Audio Input the Monitor is connected to on the PC

●    If available select the Properties options. Note that Properties depend on the audio software driver.

●    At this point you may be able to adjust the audio levels up or down if necessary, or experiment with other settings as desired. It is recommended to adjust these settings minimally, and only if sound quality is not as expected.
