Absurd Allegations and Crazy Costs from a Commercially
Invisible Company
A certain company, who we shall refer to as "New Co$t$",
have been alleging that Vervata plagiarized their work
because we may have read a public post of an idea somewhere
on the internet. We are surprised that "New Co$t$" would
embarrass themselves by such hilarious statements, which
do not even pretend to offer any solid facts, but simply
speculate on the possibility of something in the public
domain being seen by someone who then goes on to make
an amazingly successful product . This is like NASA
being accused of plagiarizing the Space Shuttle from
a drawing of Buzz Lightyear. The only explanation of
such a shot in the foot by "New Co$t$" is that this
is a panic driven response to Vervata's unique products
and superior marketing. Vervata point out that we had
already licensed a corporate version of FlexiSPY, for
a UK reseller back in October 2005 and that FlexiSPY
is simply a trivial specialization of our core technologies
that include a broad range of Corporate and Consumer
products as well as bespoke development services for
select Clients. While "New Co$t$" point to public posts
on the Internet, Vervata point to real products with
real customers to prove our credibility.
It should also be understood that FlexiSPY is radically
different to "New Co$t$" offerings, as FlexiSPY is distributed
application with client and server side components which
offers much broader uses and costs up to 5000 times
less than using "New Co$t$" SMS forwarding system.
While we take the former with a touch of bemusement,
on a more serious note, "New Co$t$" are portraying Vervata
as some dodgy fly-by-night charlatans that are hiding
in somewhere in Thailand . This is something we do not
take lightly.
Vervata are a Thailand Board Of Investment promoted
company; we publish our physical addresses, our phone
numbers, a map to our office, and even a picture of
our office building. We are completely open to our customers
and you may phone us to speak with someone at any time
during office hours in the GMT+7 time zone.
Now compare us with "New Co$t$", whose corporate presence
consists of an email address and a website. Indeed,
they have chosen to use "Private Domain Registration"
which is specifically designed to hide the identity
of the site owners. Where are "New Co$t$" offices? What
is their phone number? Who are their clients? Why are
they hiding their registration? How do you really know
what they are doing with your information? We encourage
the customer to consider carefully the merits of doing
business with an unidentifiable website in cyberspace,
especially with such sensitive information.
The FlexiSPY solution is unique and is a world first
as it has a sophisticated server component that records
information at a negligible cost, is accessible anywhere,
and allows archiving of information into files for user
records, analysis and multi-users. In comparison, "New
Co$t$" products use SMS forwarding, an approach rejected
by Vervata usability team, as it was simply inconceivable
that this would be tolerable from detection or an economic
perspective. Imagine having to send an SMS from the
phone for every event of interest that occurred. A prepaid
user's phone service would probably be suspended in
days, and a post paid user would wonder why their SMS
charges had increased so radically.
Please visit www.flexispy.com/neocostsdetails.htm
for a detailed analysis of how much SMS forwarding costs
the user.
In summary, we reject "New Co$t$" claims of plagiarism,
we stand by our statement that our product is a world
first in the area of discreet mobile activity monitoring
and recording. Our customers are telling us that FlexiSPY
has a much wider market appeal because of its features
and its low cost, and that they feel much more secure
dealing with a company who they can call on the phone
or vist in person.
TAKE THE TEST. TRY CALLING "NEW CO$T$". TRY VISTING
THEIR OFFICE. ONLY THEN, TRY THEIR PRODUCTS
